"The host and hostess were very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Parking was in the property forecourt. The breakfast was well prepared and plentiful. The only issue was finding somewhere to dine. The local hotel could not accommodate us on the two occasions that we tried. The nearest was either Northern Sands or Castletown hotel both of which were a number of miles away."

"It’s an older hotel and you can tell they work very hard to maintain it. Difficult to judge the amenities as they were all shut by the time of arrival. My only small concern was the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I’d like it."

A big plus was also being able to get a nice dinner in the cute pub after a very busy day on a Rabbie’s tour. It was a nice homey change from a typical hotel room."
