"Checking in was easy enough and the lobby is nice. Staff could have been friendlier but were instead discussing how soon they could leave. Bed was clean but everything else was kinda gross. The shower grout has never been cleaned, the couch in the room had questionable stains, the hair dryer was covered in dust. Shower took a while to get hot. The soap dispensers were all crusted up with old soap, should be cleaned. For two nights, we didn't complain, but for the price id expect a little more. Ive seen more well maintained hotels for less. Housekeeping staff was very sweet. Always said good morning and asking if we needed anything."

"The AC was not working in our room. We told the front desk about it before we left for the day and they said someone was going to go fix it. No one ever did and the room felt very stuffy and warm. Had to take multiple showers to cool off. There didnt seem to be any urgency to fix the issue and the staff didn’t apologize or try to accommodate us in any way. However the room was very clean, bed was comfortable and location is nice."

"This classic New York Hotel hit all the right buttons, fabulous location, gorgeous architectural details in the lobby, piping in Ol' Blue Eyes, the best, most helpful, courteous staff. We received complimentary snacks, waters, breakfast mid-stay room freshen, huge bank of elevators and modern rooms. And to top it off, only steps from Time Square!"

"The property is well-maintained and clean . The stuff is friendly. It is close to grand central and restaurants. So it is relatively convenient to get to places and enjoy foods. It’s somewhat noisy at night. There are two elevators in the building. Sometimes one has to wait for a while to use the elevators. In general I am happy with my stay :)"
