"I am not one to leave negative reviews leaving this here until I get a refund I was denied. Staff was nice and friendly. Called and was told Pool and HOT TUB were working Came in late went to pool Hot tub was not operational asked a staff member they said had been out of commission for quite awhile We picked this hotel for distance from the air port and specifically because it had a hot tub. Exposed ripped out sheetrock over the hot tub with exposed beam with what appears to be BLACK MOLD....

"Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. Basically the worst hotel i have ever seen. None of the pictures matched from what was shown on Expedia’s website. It was dirty, dusty, and borderline uninhabitable. I had to scramble last minute to book a different hotel which was very hard to find with it being last minute. Please don’t look at the pictures to decide on staying here. It is really really TERRIBLE!! Hopefully, i will get refund since I didn’t stay there."

"Unfortunately, this place was not what we were expecting. There were some things that prevented the apartment from receiving higher ratings. For example, no screens in the windows plus no AC meant we were hot the entire time. Also, the half bath has no fan, so when nature calls, you share it with the bedroom… especially with the barn doors. Finally, the pictures make it seem like the entire place is yours, but you are no one of four apartments in the home."

"The staff were very nice and accommodating. The shuttle drivers were great. The hotel was clean and the room was sufficient, a tad outdated. It appeared they were doing some upgrades. My room had new carpeting and updated furniture, but the walls were bare. It appeared they were working on it one thing at a time. The breakfast was very basic; decent eggs and sausages, plenty of seating. It’s right next to the Alaska Railroad station. Some restaurants are close; ask the shuttle to take you up...

"I was exceptionally disappointed having paid $299USD for a room that looked like it was part of a horror film set. From blood splatter on the wall in the bathroom, two of three broken bathroom lights, black mold in the shower, busted blinds, squeaky beds and a horrid smell throughout. When I searched the day of my stay what the rate was, it showed $249CAD (almost half of what I was paying). The staff were of no help to remedy this situation or cancel our stay. "Don’t waste your money there. Very noisy street right in front. Only thing to eat nearby was domino’s pizza or hot wings. Homeless people walking around asking for help. One staff member was a lady by the name of Anita was very nice, but an old white lady was very rude and disrespectful to me the whole week I was there. Very old motel so do expect nothing very nice. Btw … my prior review is showing 5 stars and that’s not true, someone change it from the 1 star I gave."

"I love this hotel. Well priced, clean, updated, & I love that they have sound machines. The only thing I was a little unhappy with was that my room was right next to do a door that everyone has to go through to get to their lofts on the first floor so the door was loud late into the night and early in the morning. I would avoid room 122 when I go back. Other than that great stay"
