"Took the train from Luxembourg to the Central Station (Gare Centrale). From there took the Metro to Schuman station (4 stops) and it was about a 10 minute walk to the hotel from there. Need to buzz in to reception and then again once inside. After that was able to register and get my keys for the room and a separate key for the exterior doors. While it’s listed as a hotel, I sort of thought of this as a short-term studio apartment rental. Room was really big. There were a few quirky things...

"The bedroom was great , lovely decor & a very comfortable bed BUT the bathroom was clearly in need of a major refurbishment - it was extremely dated and in poor condition - the shower attachment was in the bath but the tiled side of the bath was so high that I could not get in to have a shower. There were 2 sinks but one only had a dribble of water coming out. The finish on the tiling around the sinks and the boarding behind the toilet seat were clearly suffering from wear and tear. "A bunch of Gen-Z hippies in a wanna be 4 star hotel that feels like a hostel full of poor students. Zero amenities in the room, want an early check in? you’ll have to pay, even though the room is available, want to get your room clean? it will take them 8-9 hrs. Want other type of pillows except feather pillows? Yeah no way, good luck getting any decent sleep. Rooms were filthy and full of dust, the young girl cleaning the room couldn’t care less, no separate lift for the housekeeper to drag all...

"Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to a suite which was wonderful. Drinks and nuts at the bar were very good. However, it was odd that we had to ask if it was open, and reception had to call for the bartender. The bartender didn't ask if we wanted more drinks either; he brought us the tab and left. Pretty disappointed as he also didn't clean up a dirty table. Staff were friendly when we needed something as we did need a fan. Now I realize we had very hot days but our room really never did...

"The room was very functional, staff were helpful, I had more or less everything I needed. My only annoyance was that I left the "do not change the towels" message on the door, and this apparently means "don't touch the room at all" - no bed service, no refills for coffee capsules. Apart from that no complaints whatsoever."
