"I stayed at this property for two weeks and overall had a mixed experience. The location was excellent — close to everything while still being outside the busy town area, making it both convenient and peaceful. The breakfast and restaurant were outstanding, and the restaurant staff were always warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the front desk service did not meet the same standard. On one occasion, I asked for coins for the laundry machines and was told to walk to a nearby convenience store to...

"Room was clean and tidy. King bed was European style which is two beds joined, it made the middle a little uncomfortable. The fridge has an alarm as soon as you open it which was jarring when raiding it at 2am for a cold drink. The room we had was joined to another room which was cleaned very early by some noisy cleaners. Very close to Spark arena making it an ideal choice for concerts."

"Room wasn’t the cleanest unfortunately. Had to wash cups before use. Bench has something spilled on it. Bed was comfortable but bottom sheet wasn’t big enough and kept slipping down. Bedside table didn’t fit properly in room so door couldn’t be closed. Nice enough hotel and great location. "

Could do with some dampening of the noise from the trains going right past the windows and the other guests using their bathrooms! Very echoey due to age of the building. Fantastic curry in hotel restaurant lobby but the smell emanated in every public area. Definitely a backpacker/student choice. "

"Just my concern as an international traveller. Should consider that if a guest ask for early check in as need for refresh and a guest welling to pay extra. Is their a consideration on this kind of situation. We are so frustrated at that time and the lady staff at the front was not even helpful, if its not possible for our request, as a customer, can you offer an alternative. "Came to Auckland for a concert. Tribe was walking distance from everything we needed, the rooms were quiet and peaceful, and everything was very clean. Check in and out were easy and pleasant. Didn't eat in the restaurant but had a couple of nice drinks, it's a great spot for people watching and planning your day."
