"Room was neat and tidy, we were located in a quite area which was perfect, the addition of the Spa was awesome, rear entry to the room made bring bags in so much easier. The atmosphere in the room created a very relaxing environment and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. "

"I would have LIKED to stay at the Royal. I'd made a booking but ran late getting there. No text message. No email. And no keys or anything in the late arrivals box when I got there. You can imagine how great that felt arriving in a dark carpark, with everything closed, and nowhere to stay. I was lucky to not end up sleeping in the back of my car, but had to suck up paying for a room at another hotel (also closed by the time I got there, but at least there was a bell I could ring). "Shower leaked, air conditioner on a timer and turns itself off, first checkin text no access code given therefore I had to contact property, dirty coffee cup, left over food from previous guest, half a roll of toilet paper with no replacement. Two nights of accommodation with only one bath towel per stay. No housekeeping during the duration of our stay."

"Room was very large and clean with a small terrace and packing outsude the room. The bed was large and confortable. The pool area was nice with some loungers around the pool as well as tables and chairs in the shade. The location was great to walk to a few different vibeyards and there was a small set of shops and coffee places. The gym was a bit disappointing wirh only fans and no a/c so it was a bit uncomfortable for excercising. I would recommend this hotel for a great location if you want to...

"Plenty of space, lovely to have the outdoor table for dinner - plenty of deckchairs by the pool. Great outlook onto a vinyard and heaps of roos lazing about. Very close to the Hunter Valley Gardens for the xmas lights. Some good restuarants close by."
