"Everything About M Hotel Was Very Close To Excellent "

"When checking into the hotel there was obviously some sort of zoom meeting going on at the front desk. While the clerk checked us in, he was about to explain where the room was and asked "please hold a second so I can do roll call" to which he unmuted the microphone and tried to introduce himself to the clearly more important moment. At 5 am when I woke to use the bathroom, I turned the light on which spooked the resident cockroaches. 2 went skittering across the sink, to which I smushed one and missed the other. In the morning, when we went to leave, I spoke with a lady at the front desk. Shared about our bug run in to which she explained. "We just had an exterminator come in recently but we were told it could take 2-3 weeks for them to be completely gone..we appreciate your understanding!" 24 hours later, and I am still not understanding. You let us check into a facility that you had treated, but told no one about. When I called back now to clarify my upset (before leaving an honest review), the same woman stated, "how could we warn you about something if we didnt know they were there, if the previous guests didnt tell us?" I reminded her she had mention they had an extreminator there but was told "thats just something we do around areas in general" We stay in MANY hotels and this will definitely not be one we stay at again. **unneeded by us, but the pool was also closed and we were not told when making the reservation. Glad my kids weren't along for this trip."

"The staff at this hotel are tremendously, friendly and helpful. We loved how they kept the granite façade of the old Genesee bank as part of their remodel. Some aspects of the hotel show their age, and signage could be more clear for things like the workout room, but overall lovely. The restaurant was great as well, and although my fingerling potatoes were a little bit too salty, otherwise the food was excellent. We will be back if we need to visit that part of Buffalo again."

"Breakfast was great. The shuttle service from hotel to arena downtown was amazing! They brought us to March madness games and picked us up when we called them. Such a wonderful perk! Drivers were so friendly "

"Very convenient to the theater that was the best part. The hotel needs a make over like yesterday. Most things were out dated in the rooms. Toilet so low to the floor felt like a toddler. The track for the shower door was stuck I had to get a way in and out. Too many people loitering in the lobby just chilling like its the hang out spot. Didn't like that. Not enough parking or designated handicapped or street parking"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our night at the Mansion on Delaware. Room was very clean, staff were amazing and the freshly made breakfast was a huge bonus. Enjoyed a drink at the bar chatting with other visitors and the staff and came back after the game to a pint in front of the fireplace. Highly recommended! Thanks"

"The staff is very respectful and so helpful. Anything that was needed was achieved. Clean friendly environment. The breakfast was wonderful. I even had family that have been to other hotel's and said they never experienced the variety of things available. The kitchen staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Jackie and Maureen were the best, it was as if I'd known them forever. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Pauline Tredo "
