"I stayed three nights here and would defiantly stay again if Yogyakarta.
Place was great - staff were excellent. Especially at reception Yudha, Fara and the duty manager Indra who helped tremendously when I had left my small rucksack with important items in the taxi and realised 6 hours later - they all helped to contact taxi company to help get it back.

"The showers and bathrooms are so clean, you would think they clean them every time someone uses them. The beds are extremely comfortable (keep in mind that Asian mattresses are usually on the harder side). The AC in the dorm is adjusted to perfection. I have never slept this perfect in a hostel before!"

"A grand old building in an excellent location, close to the railway station and Malioboro Street. And with a swimming pool, perfect for hot afternoons.
The rooms were adequate but good value for the price I was paying for.
However I did find some dirt on my pillow but I brushed it off. Also Western travellers should be warned that the are traditional Indonesian style bathrooms in the rooms. At least in my room, so a squat toilet with no toilet paper, or flush, and a cold shower. I didn't...
