"The natural beauty of this property is definitely undeniable. But the human aspect of this property leaves a lot to be desired. Staff were ok… young summer type of working crowd. The real issue was the room. We stayed in the Lake View part of the property and although these rooms were advertised as “remodeled”, they were very dirty. Mold, dust, multiple stains on the linens. It was pretty unsettling and uncomfortable. There was also an issue with the pipes where maintenance shut the water off for several hours one day. The sink had a very hard time draining properly during our stay which was pretty gross. The restaurant is expensive with limited menu items but I will say, the food was good, just not a lot to choose from and very limited grocery options in the area due to remoteness. Mixed feelings on this one because the natural grounds are gorgeous. Wish the lodge & rooms themselves were cleaner and more cared for."
"Amazing view and a very clean cottage. The staff at the reception was very helpful. Only minor thing that stuck out was the lotion bottle was empty. Would definitely recommend and revisit"
"The rooms were awful old dirty, and little, we tried to upgrade room but bc we booked through Expedia they did not let us. Felt like we got the oldest and smallest rooms just bc we booked through Expedia. The whole resort is old and falling apart. The boardwalk to beach is falling apart old pallets used as part of walkway. Overall the place needs a good renovation."
