"This hotel is absolutely magnificent! It’s in a perfect location next to a gorgeous cathedral. There are ancient ruins in basement, discovered during the hotel construction, that you can explore. A great gym, a spa, a huge outdoor roof patio, a pool!! And the best thing… it’s right in the middle of everything in Granada and very close to Alhambra! I love this place! One of my favorites of all time!"

"I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel...

"Perfect location for Granada! The room was VERY clean and decoration/amenities were perfect. Although we have lifetime friends in Granada, it was a bit off-putting that we could not invite them to our room and offer a wine while we changed or chilled."

"It was a bit challenging checking in because we arrived early. The office is several blocks away and doesn’t open until 10. We were able to drop our bags at the office and wonder the city until checking in. The room was awesome, very clean and modern, quiet and secure. The laundry on site was an added bonus. Great central location. Would definitely stay here again."

"This is a great hotel with really friendly staff, quality rooms and greater amenities. The rooftop bar has a great view of the Alhambra, and is a good place to watch the sunset. All in all I would definitely recommend the place, and would be pleased to stay there again."

"My husband and I stayed for a birthday trip and really enjoyed our stay. We received complimentary wine and enjoyed the breakfast. A great location for everywhere of interest. The perfect base if your happy to walk around the city. Also close to a taxi rank for getting back to the bus station. We'd highly recommend"

"Good location, great communication for check in and we were able to get into our room a bit earlier too which saved us having to lug our bags around! Room has everything you need, maybe a little dated but it was comfortable."

"This hotel was absolutely brilliant right in the middle of Granada with incredibly helpful staff both on the reception and in the dining area. Nothing was too much trouble. The car park is quite difficult to find, but they did their best to help me. The pool is only a plunge pool not a swimming pool but the rooftop area is great. They just need a few more beds as once there are eight people up there there’s no space…. Exceptional loved it"

"Very spacious and comfortable apartment in an amazing location just a few steps from the best viewpoint in town, and a few minutes down the hill into the centre. Great to have a private car park and the reception staff were super nice and helpful. We were a little sad to find out that the pool was only available for the penthouse, but very much enjoyed our stay."
