Room was clean, bathroom was very nice, hairdryer included. Staff pleasant and mostly helpful. Restaurant did not make a good impression at dinner. Slow service, wrong order after long wait followed by another long wait for the correct...

"The staff was very friendly and answered many questions about the hotel and Ghent. They provided a great guide with a map of Ghent - we loved it as it had a summary of each site we visited. There was complimentary water provided. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. "Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. "Tout était parfait, chambre très grande et agréable. Petit déjeuner très diversifié et de qualité. Service de location de vélos pratique pour se rendre dans le centre ville de Gand en 20 mn avec des pistes cyclables le long de cours d'eau : très agréable. Le seul problème : toutes les bornes de recharge électrique étaient en panne !"

"Nice property just outside Ghent with easy access to city center. The property itself is as described with nice rooms with all the amenities listed. Complimentary breakfast was also decent with a nice variety of items to choose from. A plus is a 24 hours bar."
