"Very cool renovated historic building with that modern loft feel but exposed stonework with very tall ceilings and windows to give it that touch of medieval history. A bit hard to find but our host was outside looking for us. Right where all the action is… restaurants, bars, historic sites all right outside the door. Very nice place to stay!"

"Dino went out of his way to help us both with suggestions for tours and restaurants but also with guiding us through parking, posting mail, and recovering forgotten items. Nothing fazed him! And the accommodations absolutely lived up to their name! Location couldn’t have been better—parked the car and didn’t need it again for the rest of our stay!"

"We stayed at hotel A'mare twice and both times everything was good! The rooms were very clean and functional. The staff was helpful and professional. The breakfast was huge and the terrace was lovely in the mornings. I liked the fact that it's a modern, yet traditional hotel - no bed runners (who needs them?), enough miniature shower and body gels, body lotion and even conditioner which nowadays are quite rare. "The apartment at Villa Karla was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s in a good location and it was also great to have a parking space - we visited Zadar at the end of our trip and it was then easy to drive on to the airport."

"The property is absolutely stunning with memory making views of the ocean. The pool area is stunning with lots of lounge chairs . The only downside to the hotel and Croatia in general is that everything is ridiculously expensive. As Canadians expect to pay double for everything if not more. For example, we came across Restaurants, which is only $60 Canadian. Adds up when travelling as a family of 5"
