"This was a very basic hostel style guesthouse. The Wi-Fi was nonexistent and the shared bathroom lacked toilet paper in one and hand towels in another. It was clean and quiet and we slept well, just zero cozy vibes. Sesam Bakari is so close, so that was wonderful for breakfast."

"The pictures truly do not do this place justice. The cottages are quaint, charming, and very well maintained. Everything was spotless upon arrival, and while the accommodations are simple, they are equipped with all the old-school basics needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed here as a family of four with two teenagers and had plenty of space. The setting is absolutely stunning, with beautiful waterfront and mountain views that create a peaceful and uniquely Icelandic atmosphere. One of the highlights was the hot tub located in the center of the property—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also appreciated having access to a washer and dryer on-site, which was very convenient during our trip around Iceland. The property also offers a buffet breakfast and dinner option, although we chose to eat in town during our stay. Overall, this was a comfortable, scenic, and memorable place to stay, and we would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful Icelandic getaway."

"We left a day early as the accommodation was not accurately described or pictured. This is a hostel and not a 3 star hotel. No staff, and slow to respond to email. Room not as pictured, cold and dingy, both hand soap and shower wash dispensers were empty, no kettle as advertised, TV with no channels, socket by bed not working, kitchette for shared use was unclean. So many good hotels in Iceland so don't waste your time staying here."
