"A character home with very no actual character beyond the first impression when entering the main doors. We stayed in the Bell Island Suite, which in no way felt like a suite. It felt more like a dated cottage or camp cabin. The room was tired and poorly maintained, with no consistent style or attention to detail. "My room was prefect over looking the harbour with a clear view of the harbour entrance and signal hill. Staff was very friendly and very helpful suppers were excellent with a wide variety to choose from on the menu. A good location very walkable to all downtown attractions including George street."

"Nice large room with a very comfy bed. Close to downtown, so we could walk almost everywhere. It's quite an old building, so you need to accept the stairs and thin walls."
