"Where do I even begin? My family of 4 fell in love with this spectacular 21 apartment style room boutique hotel! We immediately noticed how clean it smelt and how spotless & bright everything was! The level of cleanliness at The Courier Hotel far exceeded all hotels we've ever been in! All the staff was so helpful and friendly, it was like I was catching up with old friends even though we just met. Everything we needed was already there in the room. We didn't need to pack dishes, paper towels or hand soap - it was all there - even a dishwasher in our kitchen lol. I need to mention again how immaculate everything was. This was the first hotel I've actually taken my shoes off and I even went bare foot in our suite - yes it was that clean!! The parking lot for the courier hotel is conveniently just a one minute walk away and is only $25/night! I should also mention how perfect the location was to walk to everything in downtown Salem! Pretty much everything was less than a 10 min walk away. We had room #2 which is a double queen suite. It overlooked Washington Street which was so nice to sit on the ledge and people watch in the evenings. I will forever rave about our experience and will be returning to The Courier Hotel every time I return to Salem, Massachusetts 🖤🌙 FIVE BIG SHINY STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Deanna"

"By far our favorite hotel on our Salem to Bar Harbor trip. It was beautifully decorated in nautical themes, convenient to restaurants, the waterfront offered views and great walking area and so close to a neighborhood that felt like a village."

"A lovely hotel would stay again. So charming a very well decorated. The walls are from the 18th century’s so you can hear traffic. We had no issue with it at all. There was a French press in the room which was lovely. The issue was no actual coffee to put in it The pulllout bed was sloped. Probably better to put it on the floor. I would recommend otherwise"
