"I bookend four nights-Wednesday night through Sunday morning at this location for my workers who were doing a job in the area. I booked because of its relatively close proximity and that they advertised a complimentary breakfast—not a Continental breakfast, but a full breakfast. Thursday morning, there was stale coffee and one poor apple—nothing else. Same Friday and Saturday. I called Saturday night to see why no breakfast and was told there was— 6-9am. Simply not true—nothing but an apple sitting out. I called my foreman who went down to ask personally—they had been stopping out to get breakfast—he was told that there would be breakfast every morning, 6-9. This morning when he checked out, the clerk asked him to sign a note saying he had been offered breakfast! He told
Me he refused to sign tbe nite because there had never been a breakfast. Today, I drove to the location—spoke to a man in charge, who, essentially said I had no proof the hotel had failed to offer breakfast and said to complain to Expedia…so here I am."
"The room was not ready. I checked in and received a key and went to my room - to find housekeeping and an open door. (The cleaner told me the man who checked me in thought a traveling nurse made the reservation and I didn’t look like one, he gave me a different room. He thought someone else was still coming for the other room. The one that I reserved and that WAS ready for me.) She seemed to have just started but said she’d only be a few minutes. After maybe 10 minutes, she went to get a vacuum but came back with a key to the room next door to give me instead. It had been cleaned but they had sprayed so there were dead spiders literally everywhere. She decided to just vacuum the original room and have me stay in there. I generally use the tub to soak a lot while I’m there so I asked for a room with a tub that didn’t leak. The tub did have a slow leak and it was not properly cleaned. I used my face wash and body wipes to scrub the bottom and sides out, all to have the water leak out along with my geranium oil. They helped me with a make shift seal but it was a still a hassle. **The previous manager retired** and it’s very obvious they need better help. This small motel was a stand out bc it was always very clean and things were done right. If that changes, they won’t last. "
"This is our hotel of choice when visiting our kid at college. Staff are friendly, place is clean. Will continue to visit when we are in town. Highly recommend it!"
"Freezing in room when we got there and weird smell, sheets need to be replaced…looked gray. Wasn’t any coffee in the morning and no one to be found to make more!!"
