"Our group stayed at the Rocco Forte Charles hotel for 4 nights before departing for our cruise, and we absolutely loved the hotel. Gorgeous, well appointed rooms, great staff, beautiful restaurant and wonderful location. Breakfast at the restaurant was a great way to begin each day. We had dinner out on the terrace, very nice. Can’t safe enough good things about the staff; really made our stay such a joy."

"The positives: The property is conveniently located next to the main train station and is within 10 minute walking to Karlsplatz and Marienplatz. The rooms are clean but basic. The breakfast is very good. The negatives: I don’t think that this is a 4 star hotel. It does not have a pool, a spa, a gym, or any of the typical amenities you expect in a 4 star hotel. The location of the hotel is in the red-light district. There are strip clubs within a block. I saw 2 separate police arrests and...

"Nice hotel, great location. Breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was we visited in July and the fans in rooms weren't enough against extreme heat, although they had put an ac unit in room it was too loud to use at night"

"Lovely clean room. New hotel with AC (very important with the heat waves in Europe). Centrally located and easy to get to from the Hauptbahnhof"

"It is a great location and property clean but no amenities and not worth the $500/night price tag. That’s what I paid booking in advance but checked same day and only $300. They would not even consider a refund due to family emergency. I’d look elsewhere for better price and helpful staff"
