Our family enjoyed so much the Labor Day long weekend. We had so beautiful view from the balcony. I liked all the amenities in our apartment - kitchen, laundry room, it means a lot for a 5 persons family.

I recently rented a condo through Elliott Realty at the Carolinian in Myrtle Beach, and the entire experience was smooth and hassle-free. The booking process was easy, and communication was clear from start to finish. The condo itself was very nice—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely rent through Elliott Realty again!

Great location. Nice view on the beach. Convenient to local attractions restaurants and easy beach access. Provided amenities. Difficulty with door locking. Maintenance issues were quickly taken care of and professional. There is a pier being built which was a little eye sore and noisy during the day. It didn’t keep us from enjoying it. We would definitely stay here again. Had 2 pools a lazy river and the beach. What else could you ask for!

The unit itself was nicely decorated and comfortable. However, everything else about this stay was problematic. Free parking was included, but no one ever told us where the parking garage was. When we asked at the front desk of the property, the staff was exceptionally rude. They kept saying it was "right across the street" and looking at us like we were stupid for not seeing it -- it was a block away and behind two other buildings. The garage was poorly lit, and the elevator in the garage did not work the entire time we were there (a week). The elevator at the property had a loose panel and lights falling off of it. There was a smell like poop or something rotting right outside our door the entire stay. The hallway was so narrow and the pictures poorly mounted, so two of them fell off the wall during our stay. The dishes in the cabinet were dirty - as if someone barely wiped them after use and then just put them away. One plate still had a "shadow" of grease and seasoning from chicken on it. No housekeeping was offered during the stay, and we were told in emails repeatedly that we would be charged a fee if we did not clean the space, including taking out our own trash and putting all the linens in a bag. The water was also turned off for a huge portion of the day for a repair. So why were we staying at this property instead of a hotel, where none of that would have happened, regular housekeeping would have been offered, and we wouldn't have had to buy our own toilet paper?

The tv did not work properly and I contacted the realtor several times and it was never fixed. No hot water one morning. They did not furnish hand towels or dish cloths. There was a nasty smell out on the front balcony. The shower/tub is a very high step to get in. They need grab bars in the shower area. There was also only one hook to hang a towel on in the bathroom. The view was nice, kitchen was ok and the beds were comfortable.

The condo had a great oceanfront view. It was very clean & had a well stocked kitchen. The only negative was no on-site parking. a small parking garage was available two streets over which was inconvenient.

Wish they had on premises parking, but realize many hotels use a nearby parking garage. Breakfast was good and fairly adequate variety of foods. Would stay there again.

Carolinian Resort

We actually got there before they had re-opened from the hurricane, so things were still being put back in service while we were there, so we couldn't really expect perfect conditions from the hotel. The wi-fi was spotty but worked 90% of the time. We let the desk clerk know and she promised to look into it. They got all three elevators running around Wednesday so waits were minimal. The pools and lazy river were fine, although the hot tub gave them some problems. They had it working by Thursday. Again, they had just gotten back running so can't fault them for that. We stayed in a privately owned unit so the hotel didn't have much to do with it, but the desk people were helpful as they could be, as were all the staff we interacted with. We parked in the public parking lot every time except once on the advice of one of the staff as it was out of season and free. We didn't really like having the parking garage across the street but it looks like a lot of the new construction down there is going that way. All in all, they did as good a job as could be expected under the circumstances.

Horrible staff attitudes-different building

Phone staff rude on "every call". Did not get room paid for on website...not even the same building. Supposed to be one bed condo...received open concept hotel room. Put in different room and address than paid for...dupposed to be at Carolianian...put in Boardwalk. Pic of both buildings attached. Bathroom floors filthy as well as tub jets...have pics. Staff was pleasant at actual check-in desk, but phone staff all need attitude adjustments.
