Top Mystery Bay State Park Hotel Reviews
Palace Hotel Port Townsend
8/10 Good
"Fun hotel, very clean with lots of charm and in the heart of historic downtown."
Old Alcohol Plant Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very helpful staff, lovely place."
Port Townsend Inn
10/10 Excellent
"The property was nice and clean positioned in a great location for easy access. The room was very comfortable with the TV, Fridge, and AC working properly. The only way to improve the experience would be to get the pool up and running again. Overall, it was great staying there."
Tides Inn & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"View was amazing, cleanliness was not that great, from coffee sopills on floor ,something on the comforter. Plus some greasy finger prints on bathroom door. Staff was amazing also. Still a 5* place "
Water Front Inn
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms were really nice and updated despite how old the hotel is. The location is great and walking distance from several restaurants and breweries. Loved our view of the beach from our balcony, we saw a lot of ocean life while sitting on our balcony. It was also fun to be able to walk down to the beach anytime we felt like."
The Swan Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, great location. Fun marine animal sightings in the area right along the beach. Easy walk to coffee and restaurants."
The Bishop Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Wish the food/bottle service had the option of opening earlier than 8am and closing after 8pm, but there were glasses in the room and the ability to purchase earlier in the day to sit in the garden and drink later in the day. Kids slept well on the pull-out sofa bed and the garden was close enough to the room that our audio monitor covered them, while we had some parent relaxation time. Easy access to the main drag and good deer watching at all hours."
Hike & Relax Fireside: Nordland Gem w/ Deck & Yard
10/10 Excellent
"We loved this tiny house! We were surprised to find so many kitchen staples in the cupboards and weren't quite sure if we were supposed to use them. We really didn't need to, but I think we would have had we been there longer. Clarification on this might be helpful. Nice to know if hot chocolate mix was okay to use. Very clean and comfortable living space, with lots of light and easy windows to open for a pleasant breeze. The wrap-around porch and swing were lovely places to drink our morning coffee. The bed was quite comfortable, with plenty of warmth under the ample covers. Given the vacation/camping vibe of the island in June, the price seemed reasonable for such a nice property."
The Washington Hotel
8/10 Good
"This is a self-help apartment. It was very expensive. We were afforded no early check in, even though we far in advance notified them that we had a complicated situation. As a result, because we were at an event, could only check in late. Check out is at 10AM, which is an obnoxious, creeping habit of hotels and air b and b's. It does not take six hours to clean a unit. Also, the stay requires a download of an app, but we did not receive check in information (just an email with a broken link) so had to spend time with tech support to get access. Given the price, which was in excess of $500, we expected nice amenities. There was a Keurig with paper cups and instead of drinking glasses there were plastic cups in plastic bags, like you would get at a cheap motel. There were plastic utensils piled in a drawer down the hall. No bottled water or collective filtered water. The unit was nice and decorated in a quirky and cool way, and the space was comfortable- or would have been had we been able to enjoy it. Our night was the same night as a big event in town, so we may have been victims of an algorithm, but the value just was not there. If you can get a better price and don't mind checking in late and leaving early, it is well located (a bit noisy) right off the main drag, and convenient to everything. Parking is at your own risk, as the parking is posted at 2 hours, but the hotel says it is not enforced. We did not get a ticket, so it held true for us."
