Erin and Josh were lovely, and warmly welcomed us into their charming farmhouse. The decor is thoughtfully curated and attention has been paid to ensure guests feel at home. The room was spotless and well appointed. A full breakfast was provided with homemade baked goods, exceeding all expectations.

Our stay at Eileen of Mystic was one of the highlights of our New England road trip. Not only was it clean and comfortable, but it was absolutely beautiful and the effort and care the owners Erin and Josh put into the every detail was evident. I’d love to return in the future for a longer stay for more opportunity to relax at this lovely property and explore the charming surrounding area further!

True Gem

This was a very pleasant surprise and a gem. The proprietors are artists and each room is unique, filled with special objects or art and furniture. The wonderful aroma of the gorgeous wood floors and fireplace transport you to a place calmness and serenity.

The couple who run this inn, Erin and Josh, have done a beautiful job renovating the 1700s farm house into an atmosphere of quiet, and rustic beauty. Everything about the inn, inside and out, has been done with careful artistic taste. A lovely antidote to the noisy, busy modern world.

A jewel of a place.

We absolutely loved Eileen’s at Mystic. Downtown Mystic can be a bit noisy, so we had no problem with the location being a 5-10 min drive away. Eileen’s is on a very nice, quiet street very close to 95, although you would never know it. Erin and Josh, the proprietors, met us at our check-in and were really friendly and helpful- showing us around the beautifully done 1700’s B&B. There were beautiful murals and artwork, mostly created by Josh, very comfortable furnishings, and an area for complementary water and snacks. Our Room (the blue room) was also beautiful and warm, like the rest of the B&B, keeping a colonial style with a modern twist. Our Breakfast was delicious, with a continental bar along with Erin’s special (optional). All in all, this was a fantastic find and we highly recommend.

The Perfect Stay

My husband and I booked a stay at Eileen of Mystic and had a fantastic stay. The house is beautiful and has the most character and charm. We were met on arrival and given a run down of the space and amenities. Our room was a relaxing haven away from city life. Breakfast offerings were lovely and well thought out. Eileen of Mystic is exactly the place you want to spend the summer.

an absolute gem

i'm upset we only had one night in mystic, this place was AMAZING. such a great start to our road trip! josh and erin were there to greet us, and give us some local recommendations. the entire place is beautifully and artfully appointed in such a unique style, seamlessly mixing some modern amenities with a rustic style that honors the history of the property. the property is closer to downtown than we thought, but tucked away on a residential street so it felt like a world away, in a good way. the room was cozy and relaxing, and there's a lovely common room where we were able to hang out for a bit before bed, as we had ordered takeout from andiamo's [amazing italian place nearby]. breakfast the next morning absolutely blew me away - i eat pretty specific stuff for breakfast so i don't expect much while traveling and tend to stick with coffee, maybe a pastry. i was met with such a lovely spread - chia pudding with fresh fruit, cardamom muffins, yogurt, a cheese plate, an offer of egg dishes, fresh juice, etc.. it was so nice to have healthier options than you typically see at a b&b and it was great fuel for the day, josh was around to chat with us for a bit and we got some great ideas for things to do, and learned about the history of the property and what brought them there. i absolutely loved this place, and the CAT [rocky?!] who roams the property but sadly was utterly uninterested in attention from us. it's a beautiful place and was the absolute perfect choice for us.
