"Cockroach in bathroom in the middle of the night. Awful smell from the bathroom drain that we ended up putting small towels over it to stop the smell. Mould spores and mould on curtains in lounge room. They put us in a room directly across from the golf club and restaurant. From 4.30am very loud noises and people congregating behind my bedroom window talking loudly. Told reception who couldn’t care less and that’s it’s a golf resort so what do you expect. "Noah’s sits on a bluff above Newcastle Beach. There is nothing like watching the ocean rollers coming in and most of the time a dozen or more surfers taking their rides.
Breakfast is typical English style breakfast with an Aussie twist, lamb sausages for instance.
When my flight was unexpectedly cancelled, the staff immediately helped me figure out what to do. I’ll stay here again."

"Check in took forever for them to find a key, the blanket on the Queen bed had what I *hope* was a thick chocolate stain. There was a melted lolly(?) on the floor that I only saw when I stepped in it, and a cockroach on the wall during the night that I had to kill. And the smells! The room had a terrible odour, and the spray fragrance in the hallway was so strong I literally had to breath through my jumper when leaving the room at all. Stayed for a stopover from Melbourne to Brisbane, very glad...

"Phenomenal new hotel, great location walking distance from everything in town, they have lots of great inclusions with lots of attention to small details that makes all the difference for e.g. T2 teas, milk lab milks, St Ali coffee, $35 per person of vouchers to use for brekky at the cafe downstairs, the ability to order ice buckets free on demand from the virtual minibar. Will definitely be back next time we are in Newcastle."
