"I stayed for one night after arrival from California, to help with jet lag. The room was older, a bit dark, and showed some wear and tear around the corners and tiles. I also encountered quite a few mosquitoes when I first walked in. Closing up the window slats resolved that. Overall, the stay was adequate for a quick place to crash before continuing the rest of my trip, but the room could use some modernization and better insect screening. The remainder of the property was beautifully tropical. The restaurant meals and staff were great, and the front desk was very helpful in planning a quick day trip to the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple. Plus, having taxis available right on-site makes getting around effortless. It's an adequate, convenient spot for a quick overnight stay."

"The hotel is in a good location, with access to stores and restaurants. BUT BEWARE OF THEIR RESTAURANT!!!! (See below) Rooms have good views, and staff (outside of the restaurant) are competent, and very hospitable. Beds are comfortable, and the buffet breakfast is varied and tasty. However, we had a TRULY BRUTAL dining experience in the restaurant. We're a couple in our seventies who arrived hot and tired after a 6-hour boat transit, and we just wanted water and a decent meal. No such luck! Despite many empty tables with views, the waitress put us two meters from a child's play area with slides going into plastic balls that a screaming toddler could throw. We quickly ordered two entrees, two mains,and a bottle of water. In ten minutes, the water arrived, but no glasses. After ten more minutes, I was finally able to attract the attention of a bus boy, and we finally got glasses. Then we waited another 20 minutes, and our mains were delivered by another waiter. When I asked what happened to our entrees, he was confused, and started away with the mains! Being starved, I stopped him, and we started to eat. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but before she arrived, a plastic ball thrown by a toddler bounced into my plate. When I told the supervisor to remove the entrees from our bill, and described our experience, she apologized, and offered us free desserts. Having already spent a hellish hour in that dump, we declined. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, and go next door."

"The Hotel was close to the airport, provided secure parking, breakfast was included and was very good with a wide variety of choices, the room was large and clean (although the walk to the room was quite long - but no stairs)."

"Very nice hotel with spacious and well equipped rooms. A lovely big and comfortable bed. Just a few mins walk to the shopping area with some great restaurants and the ferry terminal for island hopping. Onsite cafe with food and drinks which was handy. Great place, would be nice if the cafe music was turned down a bit though, even though it stopped mid evening it was a bit annoying to have the background noise within the room. Minor issue though and we look forward to returning soon. We only spent one night but will be returning a couple more time"
