"I booked my stay at serene resort online, approximately 4-5 days in advance, using an online travel company. I called approximately one hour before arriving at the hotel for my scheduled stay and the manager told me he canceled my reservation. The manager had very limited Ability to communicate in English. "I thought the staff was great, but this area and location is a bit rough, so you may face some cold nights and lack some creature comforts. I stayed 4 nights, which may have been two too many as there really wasn’t a whole lot to do at night. Still the day hiking was nice and the hotel restaurant was nice. "
