One of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed, and my only regret was only staying for one night. Small, simple, affordable, quiet, and comfortable. Everything felt so well-kept and the staff were great, making sure we were accommodated at check-in. There are also free kayaks and canoes for rental, which was awesome! Our favorite part was watching the beavers off our balcony as the sun went down. I would absolutely stay here again, and I’m really looking forward to it. Such a peaceful setting and overall fantastic value.

The setting is very quiet and beautiful; we had a fabulous view over the lake. T room represented a great harmony of natural colors and textures; the bed was superb, we slept like logs. Impeccably clean and spacious. Would definitely return. The self check-in system was well explained and worked but still gets a little getting used to. We would definitely return; will be our first choice when returning to the Port Alberni area.
