We had a car. Not sure how convenient would be if only public transport to get into Nantes which is 9.2 k away. Lovely conference hotel. Staff fab and room lovely. Only niggle would be only access room from 4.00 pm but you can use the pool so only little niggle. Breakfast would be nice if set up rather than large round table where you have to get your own cutlery and food on a tray but again just a small niggle

Hotel was empty when we arrived but had to wait 2 hours to check in as they have a strict check in policy. Pool was freezing and far too deep for me as I can’t swim no shallow end. No light on patio only difference between balcony room and junior suite is fridge. No zero beer for non drinkers. Food was awful and in the room you only have paper cups. Bar closes at 10 with no entertainment and no residence bar. There’s places 10 minutes walk away with much better service and food as the staff here are very rude and can’t even crack a smile.

Check in experience was terrible as the reception staff made us feel unwelcome, as per policy they have to take deposit but online it does NOT mention credit card! We have a normal bank card, But staff assumed that we don’t want to pay the deposit and in front other guest they asked us to leave the hotel. It is very embarrassing. Finally they accepted our bank card but the receptionist was so confused who check-in us in and told us the card is not working, he didn’t even inserted the card in the correct machine! I am a hotel reception manager I understand the hotel policy but here at Westotel Staff need some serious customer service training. Over all the hotel is great, room was newly refurbished, free car park. Restaurant & Bar super expensive!

J'avais procéder au paiement intégral sur internet, et à l'accueil on m'a demandé ma carte bancaire physique, alors que je ne me déplace plus avec et que je paie tout en sans contact avec le tél. Il est possible de faire une prise d'empreinte avec un tél, mais l'hotel ne sait pas faire ... dommage pour un 4 étoiles ! Et en plus on m'a aussi demandé une pièce d'identité ... bref je dois avoir une tête de terroriste !!!

Hôtel bondé lors d'un séminaire avec une centaine de personne à 7h15 au petit déjeuner...vraiment désagréable surtout quand on paye 19,50 celui-ci. Décu par le petit déjeuner pour ce prix et vu le monde...Beaucoup de plats vides, café médiocre, qualité du buffet salé très mauvaise... Seul point positif magnifique cadre avec les plantes vertes dans l'hôtel et chambre silencieuse et confortable.
