"I loved the hotel and some of the best and most attentive service anywhere I've ever stayed. The signposting to the camp needs drastic improvement (my taxi got lost which I understood) and the road to get there is dreadful. The accommodation is fabulous and I slept so well. The hotel has an Indian owner and most of the guests were Indian, either from India or local. The way they spoke to and disrespectfully treated the staff was shocking and entirely unacceptable. "Two things bring the otherwise good review down. The information given at the lodge and the map of the park provided was NOT ACCURATE causing us to drive completely down a path that was no longer in use and we almost got stuck. This even though we specifically asked if the map was up to date having been sold an inaccurate map in Nakuru before.

"The staff was literally outstanding!! The tent was gorgeous. Our major complaint was the food choice was very limited and not always geared to an 'American' consumer. We had a couple great meals and the rest were hard to enjoy since we don't eat seafood."
