It was well located and within walking distance of many points of interest. The walk from the metro station is over cobbled streets and so not easy with luggage. The accomodation is on the second floor but there is no elevator so be prepared to tote your bags up there.

The main issue I found with the room was the lack of hot water, which is insane to think about how, in 2023 there isn't steaming hot water in the shower, the water at best was lukewarm. We did inform the owner the next day when we spoke to him at reception and he said he would have a look at the water temperature but when we got back after exploring Naples all day the water temperature was still the same, nothing had changed so, to be honest with you this did ruin our experience of the inn and for that reason, I won't be staying here again. Furthermore, we had to pay the city tax in cash which was inconvenient because I prefer using my card wherever I go on holiday and I never take out cash when I'm on holiday but they insisted on us paying with cash, which I thought they were being difficult as we stayed in Hotels on my our Italian tour in Palermo and Rome and none of they expect us to pay the city tax in cash. And one more thing there isn't a lift in the building so beware of that as it's not made clear on the reservation.

Good evening Mr Gary, I am sorry that your stay was not appreciated.The hot water has been checked and the boiler is working, no other guest has complained about the temperature apart from you.For the tourist tax the payment is required in cash as it does not go in the BedandBreakfast's coffers but in those of the municipality of Naples, paying it with a credit card the structure should pay taxes on a fee that is not due.Furthermore, for the lack of lift, it is specified in the description where you bought your stay.I ask you to be more careful in your future choices.Cordially.Gennaro Bausano

The inn is very lovely to stay at. The room was amazing, especially the walk-in shower with a rain showerhead. Gennaro was always pleasant and smiling, and even helped us carry our luggage up the stairs when we arrived. He also gave advice for getting around the city. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Napoli!

This property is a great place to stay. The staff was very helpful from getting luggage upstairs to finding us a taxi. The place was newly remodeled, and clean. The bar next door for breakfast was a gem. My wife has a gluten allergy and the bar owner would always have a gluten free croissant waiting.

A gem in the Naples historical centre
The room was comfortable and spacious and the location couldn't be much better. The neighborhood looks rough, a lot of graffitis, etc. - but it felt really safe! We loved it! And Gennaro is a great gentleman! A complimentary water would be nice, though. The only thing I would complain about are the keys: if you want to lock the door when inside (and I think everyone wants to), you do it with room key and can't see anything, because the key for the electricity is in the same key chain with all the other keys. Also, if you're in a bad shape, think twice, this room's in the third floor and there's no elevator.

Die Lage in einer Seitenstraße der quirligen Altstadt war für uns perfekt. Das Ambiente der Hoteletage in dem authentischen schönem alten Haus hat uns gefallen. Die Gastgeber waren immer ansprechbar und freundlich mit vielen Tips und das Zimmer angenehm und sauber. Genau, wie wir es erhofft hatten.

An Inn from Hell
It started with the arrival. The in is located in an alley full of trash cans and garbage. There was a sign by the door of a building to cal / number for the door to open, I called but noun answer. A lady going out let us in. If you want to carry your luggage to a fourth floor and more than 70 steps, this is your place. Other than the room there is nothing else available to you!!! We stay one night only because we could not get a flight out of Nápoles the same day. The advertise in Hotels.com is totally misleading This is a In from hell

Dear Vladimir,I'm sorry that the Inn was not to your liking, and I'm also sorry that in this day and age you still don't understand what you buy online.In the description of the property, you are informed that it is located on a second floor of a historic building without a lift.Also describing it as the Hell Inn is out of place.Good day!

The hotel was very nice. however it wasn't clear enough from the description that there are 65 stairs. We didn't care since the location was very good and we don't mind going up by foot. But I think that this point should be more in bold .

Had a wonderful stay. Hotel is a little quirky due to its location, but you can't beat it for convenience to museums, restaurants and shopping.

Lovely spot in Naples!
Loved this wonderful little hotel! Our favorite in our entire two-week trip to Italy. The largest shower we have experienced in Europe! Great bed, lovely decor, quiet and relaxing! Wonderful and attentive staff. The only note is that they do not have an elevator, so be ready to bring your luggage up a few flights.

Nice room, friendly service
Initial at arrival, the surroundings looked spooky, and entry to the Inn was hard to find. But we found a friendly atmosphere and nice clean room centrally located in the Old City center. As it's central and narrow, there are no lifts, so if problems with stairs this is not the place. Breakfast is at nearby bar, and very simple (Italian) and consists of a cup of coffee and a croissant, more than this, it's extra. But overall a good place to stay of you want clean and local.

Kurztrip mit einer Freundin, das Hotel hat eine super gute Lage. Mitten in der City. Es gibt nur 6 Zimmer. Es gibt keinen Strassenlärm. Sehr freundliches Personal. Absolut zum empfehlen.

Unique property. Comfortable accomodations
Very nice BB in great location in historic center. They were very clear with instructions the day before check in and even sent me a private message to help. Very good communication. There are many stairs to climb but they inform this many times so this should never be a complaint. Front desk was super friendly and helpful.

Una buena opción
Para llegar puedes ir de la estación de trenes en la Línea 1 de metro o puedes tomar el bus R2, de ahi hay que caminar unos 5 minutos. La zona esta muy grafiteada (pero toda la ciudad está igual). Se ubica en un 2º piso. El personal es muy amable, llegamos temprano y nos dieron early check inn. El desayuno es en un local a 10 metro del lugar (Pin8) donde el dueño también es muy agradable. La zona es muy céntrica y puedes caminar a los lugares turísticos
