"Absolutely brilliant hotel! The receptionist was incredibly friendly—one of the most welcoming people I’ve ever met, and his English was flawless. While checkout is a bit early at 10 a.m., he proactively offered a complimentary late checkout, which made all the difference on a long trip. The hotel exceeded all my expectations. "Very convenient location. Staff was very friendly and helpful"

Artis Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Really helpful staff, the best place I've stayed in Szombathely"

Ensana Thermal Sárvár

8/10 Good

"Mostly a very good experience. The pools need a spruce up - weeds growing between the paving stones around the outdoor pool, for example. The refrigerator in the room (was a mini bar in a past life but had nothing in it when we arrived) failed to chill drinks & receptionist said "it is not really a fridge, it is a minibar so its purpose is not to cool". Food is very good, only issue was around my nut allergy. People would move the little labels around so it was hard to see which label referred to which dessert. Otherwise a good experience. Tip: hotel guests can enter the neighbouroung arboretum free of charge. No need to walk outside the hotel grounds and pay for entry."

Hotel Benedict

8/10 Good

"This hotel has a great location, just footsteps from the castle and the main square but so quiet at night. Large, spacious room and pristine bathroom. Delicious and diverse buffet breakfast. The only issue for us was the lack of air-con, understandable given the age of the building but it was practically impossible to get any air in."
