"In the Lodge we had a good view of the lough from our room and the common area lounge. Lovely grounds. We sat outside on the terrace when the sun shone. The breakfast choice is superb with buffet and chef selection, and more. We weren't so impressed with the evening food served in the bar lounge. Overall it's a great experience."

"Overall on the surface of it Lough Eske looks grand and wonderful. The room I stayed in was very spacious and very clean. All the staff I interacted with were all very helpful. The breakfast was a big positive. Tasted great and the staff very attentive. When you look closer there are a number of parts of the hotel that look tired and need attention. "Beautiful cottage, we were here during Darragh but it was warm and comfortable . Only thing I would say is if you don’t know how to light a peat fire research it , lol we had Donagle family to show us the way. But it was wonderful staying here, you can’t go wrong especially if you have a large group with all the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again "
