"Excellent service from very polite staff. The best Japanese breakfast served among all onsen ryokans I stayed at so far. Omakase dinner was a delicate dining experience - delicious food plates beautifully. Hotel is located right on the street where the Gion Summer festival was held when we were there. So, we had a great time enjoying all the festivities."

"The single room was small but sufficient and comfortable. Everything was clean. The only thing that was surprising was an unusually small toilet that was usable, just quite small. Staff were great, breakfast fantastic and the location excellent for transportation, food and general shopping, but not particularly touristy. However, the nearby Naritasan Park is beautiful with Shinto shrines, temples, gateways and pagodas. The walking paths are beautiful and it is close enough that I walked there from the hotel. If you want to see classical Japanese views and architecture, it is as good as anywhere I’ve seen in Japan and well worth several hours."

"Looks old from outside but inside looked remodeled and clean. Repainting exterior and a new hotel sign would make the impression of this property much better. Room was spacious compared to Tokyo city center hotels. Convenient shuttle service to/from airport and Narita station/ shopping mall. Relaxed In public bath/spa. Would stay at this property again."

APA Hotel Keisei Narita Ekimae

"Excellent location right next to Keisei Narita station which is about 10 minutes train ride to Narita Airport, hotel has shuttle but unfortunately they do not provide any shuttle service between 12 noon and 5 PM but we took the Keisei train, very good Japanese/western breakfast buffet for ¥1600 which is about US$10, hotel has onsen/public bath on the second floor, easy to check in check out also offer free luggage storage if you stay there the night before:)"
