Most suites we’ve stayed at in the past had a couple of plates bowls and silverware. Lots of nice cabinets in kitchen area but all empty. No dressers in room to unpack a few things. "I returned back to Douglas, for my sister in law's wedding. New I was going to stay at my favorite place, and as always, never disappointed. I was met with new staff at the front desk. Mr. Charles, who I got to know over the 3 days, I stayed. Was very helpful in every way. It's like the establishment didn't miss a beat, in the customer service department. "I never stayed. The hotel was dirty. I was sent to a room that was dirty and had not been cleaned. Hallway carpet stained. The lobby didn't have air conditioning on. Had to wait for 5 to 10 minutes before the desk clerk arrived to the desk. They had a bell on the front desk counter for you to ring if you needed service. There was another guest waiting in the lobby also for the clerk, they had issues also. After going to the room that was dirty and saw the condition of the property i went back...
