Everything was great, and the complementary hairstyling service right in the hotel was incredible - making me look so good in the sightseeing pictures. I rate this hotel higher than the Crowne plaza (5-star), and probably higher than the Marriot in downtown Athens. I absolutely loved the Stratos Vassilikos Hotel."

"Good experience, clean and comfortable apartment. The check took 20-30 min longer as expected. This was due to the busy schedule of the caretaker. Communication was easy, and replies were fast and adequate. Location is great; I loved the little balcony allowing me to sit outside; the temperature in Athens was very agreeable! 10 min walk to conference center/Metro. Many coffee shops and places to relax as well as stores for shopping. Would stay here again"

The website doesn't make clear that guests can use the pool and gym at the Crown Plaza about 2 minutes away and this is a great bonus. The rooms are large but not all have balconies. The kitchenettes are useful but fridge space is limited (it is really a minibar that you're squeezing things into) and there is no microwave. It was great to take a break in the middle of the day and use the Pool and gym that have a beautiful view. "I asked for 2 separate beds and they gave me one bed although when I booked online they confirmed my booking and I complained they said to me it depends on availability. I am not happy with that hotel at all and I will never go back . Breakfast was a big deal I stayed in other hotels before and their breakfast was the best . Lots of selections and fresh squeezed orange juice and made to order traditional Greek coffee ."
