"The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel is simply the best, why stay anywhere else? Staff are friendly and attentive and nothing is overlooked by them. One day I was reading a book, next day I found a lovely Taj bookmark left beside the book. Fruit in your room, all essentials restocked everyday, all my cosmetics beautifully arranged and everything neatly tidied away. Food and drink service is exceptional in bar and restaurants - The Golden Dragon restaurant is particularly memorable. A window seat for breakfast so that I could look out at The Gateway of India and the Bay. Nothing is too much for The Taj staff. Outstanding service, warmth and hospitality. The building itself is beautiful, historic and fascinating too."

"I found the property better then my expectation. Initially at the time of booking i had concern about the cleanliness, room size, staff etc as this was a very old property. All this concern were put to rest on my check-in. Very well maintianed propert with heritage vibe. Spacious clean rooms. Great Value for money considering its VIP location."

"Great location. Right across the street from Hutatma chowk metro station. Rooms are in great condition. Looks like its been recently renovated. Staff is very polite and helpful. The bathrooms are clean and well appointed. The bathroom door is sturdy and takes some effort to open. May be a bit difficult for elderly. Water wasn't hot, but given the climate that was not an issue. AC was effective and all controls worked. Restaurant on premisis although I didn't eat there. Many famous joints around with a wide variety of cuisines.The hotel offers a small single room at very reasonable prices which is perfect for single travellers. "
