"The photos do not give an accurate impression of the property. It was probably quite imposing when it was new but the outside is now very scruffy. The hotel is difficult to find, it does not look like a hotel ad there are no signs. There is a large sign for a betting shop across the front of the building.
There is no lift and the hotel has many floors. The only breakfast offered was matoke and rice from 0930 am.
Staff were friendly and helpful and made every attempt to keep the hotel clean but...

"It was a very clean place. I did not like the extra charge for having guest stay in the extra bedroom since I was paying for the whole suite. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was decent. Had stove and fridge so I did cook on days I wanted something different. Not much I didn't like about this place. Had a good stay. Iwas there for 7 days and it was worth every penny."

"Zara Hotel is a very good place to stay in, its clean with very good variety of food. My disappointment this last stay in the hotel, is with some members of staff at the reception that demostrated have poor hospitality and customer care services towards some customers. I had to pay twice before refunding me back. I was disppointed more by wasting time explaining myself on the same issue which is a result of someone's incompetence at the front desk. "
