"The hotel had very comfortable beds, good showers, the best air conditioning - but the floor my friend was allocated a room on had the loudest rudest Greeks staying, who carried until 2am, so with a 5am alarm for ferry, he got no sleep. Nothing was done to ask them keep their noise down Guess the hotel did not think anything would stop them So we won't be staying here again"

"The Alex was charming, clean and centrally located. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The views are spectacular, especially from the rooftop restaurant/bar. "Got to the hotel really early and was able to check in early for a fee. The room iteself was clean, the air conditioning worked excellent. The only thing I found not up to standards is the size of the shower. EXTREMELY SMALL with about a 5 inch lip and the base is approx 2' x 2' surrounded by a curtain next to the toilet. "The hotel presented well, and staff were efficient and friendly. We arrived close to 10 pm and there were no restaurant or bar facilities open in the hotel, and so we had to seek food and drink outside. The room was good and offered all necessary amenities."
