"Excellent propriety on all fronts. It’s clean, the staff is pretty cool (maybe slightly guarded), and the convenience to Harrah’s is incredible. Just walk across the street. You also get free breakfast, quiet rooms, and a seasonal pool. If I were really searching for any negatives, booking this place is somewhat of a gamble because they don’t do refunds. That’s based on my experiences anyway. But you will get incredible value! The only other negative is that you have to take the scenic route around the river one way or the other to get to the property. If it’s late at night anf you’re a female, you might want to walk with a friend or ask security to escort you. I have never heard of any problems like that in Cherokee. This is probably because the tribe wants people coming back. If you interfere, it ain’t gonna be good! This is their land. I highly recommend you respect it. The clink on an Indian reservation is probably one of the last places you want to be. We went off the reservation on the review though, didn’t we? My bad! This is an awesome place to stay. Not my #1 in the area but my top three due to convenience and the ability to walk to the hotel (I drink red wine sometimes). I will be staying here for one night very soon. Looking forward to it. And I will not tell you my #1 property in the area. I want to keep that secret to myself. But this place is pretty awesome!"

"Not many options for hotels in Bryson City. There were a few $350 a night BNBs and places like this Sleep Inn. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great and had many options. Plenty of free parking. Hotel was quiet. Room was less than desirable. Old worn out desk and chair. Stained carpet. No lamps in room. Only BRIGHT overhead lights. Small bathroom. Room did have microwave and mini fridge and cold air conditioner. TV only had shows from the 1970s, a few news channels, a few channels with old football games and 50 channels with 24 hr info commercials. No movie channels. Worst part was the bed. Everytime you moved at night the bed springs creaked LOUDLY!! It kept waking everyone up it was so loud. Worst night of sleep ever. "

"Breakfast food did not appear freshly cooked, minimal selections, mostly carbs and minimal protein. Problem with the tub draining while showering with water as high as ankle deep during the showers. Notified staff who stated we need to go through Expedia to get any compensation. "

"Super convenient, clean, and friendly hotel for our one-night stay for a concert at Harrah's Event Center. They have a shuttle that runs to/from the casino every 20 minutes. The hotel is older, but our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The price was reasonable, too."
