"Housekeeping came twice a day to keep our suite nice and tidy, fresh towels and sheets whenever needed. The resort is sprawling and the beach is beautiful, never had problems finding a nice shady spot on the beach under the trees. The highlight of the resort was all of the staff that went above and beyond to accommodate us. As someone visiting Jamaica for the first time, we wanted to be respectful of those who live there and represent their home. It felt as though all of the staff were inviting us into their own home to make sure we enjoyed our time on the island.
I especially want to shout out the entertainment team, who helped keep us busy all over the resort, whether it be afternoon activities, daily volleyball or orchestrating the night life, it was always fun wherever they were.
The food was much better than I expected for an all inclusive. Keep in mind the only restaurant there with AC is Feathers, so unfortunately it was a bit warm at other eating areas due to the climate but it's to be expected. Bring a fan around with you! You'll be thankful you did. My wife and I stayed from July 21-29.
The property was beautiful, the rooms were well kept, but once again, the highlight of the stay was the people that made it feel special. I could not recommend this place more! This was our first all inclusive and we definitely will be back."
"There was an initial problem with check in, my family’s rooms were quite far apart. They were able to resolve everything and we have had an AMAZING experience. The front desk is very helpful, the staff is all really nice, food is great, my family can’t wait to come back here on our next vacation. Much more authentic than an all inclusive, this looks and feels more like Jamaica. My Jamaican family loves coming here too."
"The room was clean and cool upon entrance. The grounds are well kept as well as most of the staff are friendly and helpful, shootout to Blair the lifeguard who made our stay smooth as well as the security who brought our bags to our room kudos to him.
On the website it says complimentary breakfast but that doesn't comprise of the ackee and saltfish on their Instagram page. However you must give that a try. All meals we're excellent in my opinion. Another thing to note it is a cashless property so ensure that you have a working card. They also have $200 usd security deposit that must be paid upon checking in.
Rooms are equipped with lotion, hand soap shampoo conditioner and shower gel. Housekeeping is present everyday and mini bar is available at an additional cost.
Overall it was an excellent stay will definitely be back"
Sunset at the Palms Resort - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was excellent. Staff is very friendly and helpful. If you need anything they are right there to help. Beach is great with bar and food. When you are there you think your in Paridise. Can't wait to go back"
"My wife and I spent nine days in June celebrating our 25th anniversary at Catcha Falling Star. It is hard to describe how much we enjoyed our stay, but everything and everyone from the staff (BIG shout outs to front office staff Cassandra and Renae, Big Red and John the bartenders, Kenisha and the other wait staff at Ivan's, Flex the cook, Kevin and Mario the pool attendants, the housekeeping staff, to name but a few), the incredibly beautiful ocean cliff setting, our lovely Libra Cottage, great food and drinks at Ivan's, and the laid-back and relaxing atmosphere of the entire resort, met and far surpassed our hopes and dreams for what was truly an incredibly memorable milestone vacation! We fell in love with not only Catcha Falling Star, but the city of Negril (Seven Mile Beach is spectacular!), the country of Jamaica, and most of all, the wonderful Jamaican people we met (and look up Famous Vincent for wonderful snorkeling and fishing expeditions, too!)! Thank you all so much! We will definitely return!"
"I loved White sands hotel was great
the food was great …l stayed in garden side so I had to cross street to get to beach … room was clean ❤️pool was good ❤️..
It’s walkable to bars and atm"
"Great if you want something cheap and quick. Wasn’t the best hotel but if you need a place to stay last minute it’ll do. Towels and bed sheets were dirty. We had to request new ones all the time. The staff changes the prices for food and beverages to over charge and scam you. Always ask for a menu. Besides that it’s okay. Wouldn’t book again unless I had no other choice."
