"Very cozy hotel in a perfect location with excellent staff and service. The rooms are very well decorated and spacious. I booked on of the rooms on the top floor and the view over the clocktower was spectacular. Really comfortable bathtub and nice addition to also have a full rainforest shower in the room. Would highly recommend. "

Unfortunately some of the lights didn't work in the child room, and although the front desk staff made the request to the electricians, it wasn't fixed during our stay. There wasn't a safe in the room, given that the customers of the cafe below have access to the rooms' area for the toilets, this should be a must. There was nowhere to hang your clothes/coats etc, except for a coat stand. Some coat hangers would be useful. Lastly, there is no bespoke reception area. The cafe staff...
"I was in Utrecht for a conference and opted to stay here rather than near the train station. The hotel was great value for a contemporary, spotless room in a very lovely location. One block away from the Dom (at the back) but very quiet street and area. I walked to the bus stop daily (10 minutes) for travel to conference held at the Science Centre- very convenient and a lovely walk to start the morning.
Only negative was the breakfast - expensive for what you get. There are better options...
"Staff were very welcoming. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good breakfast selection. Seating outside next to a small canal, nice place to have a drink in the evening and watch the world go by. Easy access to train station which enabled us to make travel all over the Netherlands. Can't fault this quirky hotel."
