"Our first mistake was not checking the Google reviews. We booked this hotel because the Expedia reviews were decent, and the pictures made it look clean and updated. The pool looked amazing, and our kids were excited to keep swimming after park days at Schlitterbahn.
Unfortunately, the pictures didn't match reality. Our first floor, non-smoking room smelled like smoke and mildew, and the door was so damaged we had to lift it just to close it.
The pool was disgusting! Green water, algae...
