"My only real complaint is the main service can be very obtrusive early in the morning, and for a no-smoking facility the place always reeks of cigarettes and weed. And it's evident that there are people that are living there not just renting rooms per day. That doesn't draw a very good clientele"

"The room was clean and everything worked. It was a bare bones room. Shower, bed, towels and first morning coffee. No frills, but the price of the room made up for any shortfalls. There were many places to eat within walking distance and because they had kitchenettes, you could buy food at a grocery store and microwave food. If you want to do that, bring your own cutlery and plates."

"Nice remodel. But no breakfast. For $130/night you’d think they could provide a breakfast of done kind. The room as the view were nice. Sadly, the vanity in the bathroom wasn’t upgraded and had two large cracks in it. The water took literally five minutes to get warm for my shower. "

"Desk Staff is beyond great. Only advice for them to pay attention to detail. Second visit. Same room 3 months apart. Missing bathroom fan conver. Cracked electrical inlet cover in entry. Seems small but i belive this could be a destination hotel because of location. The restaurant that is next door is also amazing. I was kinda caught off guard by how awesome this place was. BEST STAFF EVER. Food amazing. All said I give a %100 percent score."

"Very nice place to stay. Staff was very nice; the room was nicely done as far as looks and cleanliness. The shower tub had a lower entry which is great for older adults. Confrontable king size bed. Short walk to downtown Sutter Creek. Safe area for walking. No need to Uber for a ride. It has a gym and a bar. Although we did not check out the bar. "

"They were bought by the Hilton so they changed something’s. Bar and restaurant are open now and were very nice. No continental breakfast but we had breakfast downstairs and they give you a sizable portion. Food was good. Staff like always were very nice and our bartender. Carl made our visit even better."

"Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. "This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. "We were in Room 220. The door was ajar when we got there. The carpet was wet. The light by the door was very dim. I went to turn on the light by the bed and the nob to turn the switch was broken. The other lights in the room was for the bathroom sink and the toilet/tub area. I took the lamp from the bed area to the front desk and asked for another. There were none available. Maintenance came by about 10 minutes later with a lamp for the bedside and he noticed we did not have a desk lamp. He came...
