"Some outlets in the room didn’t work. Not much sound isolation, could hear the Neighbors TV all night. Power went out for a couple of hours in the morning, when it came back on, the heater didn’t work anymore for the remainder of our stay. We called the front desk to tell them and they seemed disinterested in helping, which no one did. Breakfast was fine but weird how they used grocery store dinner wedges as home fries and the cheapest, thinnest, cold bread imaginable. They don’t even have a menu for their restaurant available in the rooms, or a menu we could take back to the room at the restaurant itself. We normally stay at Microtel when in Antigonish, but decided to give Maritime Inn a try this time. Will definitely pay the extra to visit Microtel from now on."

"I was very disappointed, and I am not picky. Dirty towels. No face cloths. Barely any hot water. Stains of what appeared to be blood in the bathroom. No snow maintainance outside of room. Smallest telelvision I’ve ever experienced in a motel room. Bed was comfy. That was the only plus. Sad since I like supporting small local establishments. "

"My room was clean and bright. It looked like it had been renovated recently. The lobby and other spaces were under construction. The temporary lobby and breakfast space were cramped. The noise level from construction machines was extremely loud when we were checking in. I was concerned for the staff and the damage to their hearing. Not good. Parking was spacious. Outside signage for the entrance door was not clear. "
