"If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax. The staff on duty were attentive without being intrusive and we were able to be ourselves. I really hope we get a chance to return as I would really really enjoy a longer stay."

"Our stay as a whole was pretty much okay. The only downsides were that the staff was difficult to understand at times and my wife and I found a bug of some sort in our room. The shower was okay except for the tub faucet not shutting completely down as the shower was going so I got a little bath to go along with my shower. But other than all that, my rating is a solid 3 out 5 stars."

"We had a very late (1:30 AM) check-in. We were greeted at the door. When the front desk was checking us in, we mentioned we hadn't had dinner due to delayed flights. She came out with a bag of bagels, yogurt, muffins and water. It was beyond appreciated! The hotel layout was unique. The room was great and very clean. Nothing but good things to say. We normally stay at top of the line hotels and were pleased at the level of quality and service."

I booked a room online for my family, but when we arrived around 10:00 PM to check in, the staff refused to let us stay because they said I had too many children. If that was the hotel’s policy, it should have been made clear during the booking process instead of allowing my reservation to go through. "The inn looked very quaint on Expedia.com, but come to find out that the restaurant and bar next door are managed separately from the hotel. The manager of the restaurant/bar has nothing to do with the inn! Expedia did not show that this was self check in and that a code would be emailed to us! We stayed 2 nights, no staff on hand, no ice, the tv did not work and no one to call or go to to take care of these issues! There was no one to come in and make up the room!
