"Front desk staff were unfriendly. Breakfast just ok. Fridge broken and leaked water over kitchen floor. Toilet barely flushed, and then plugged. The sitting area in the room is lovely but the ensuite bathroom is not a 5-star bathroom. It's dated and the towel hanger on the wall is coming loose. The ensuite closet is also dated. "Th property was old but kept very clean. We thought the room was cute and cozy. The staff were very very friendly. Air conditioning was great and kept us cool. The breakfast was also decent with a lot of different options. There was bread, eggs, potatoes, cereal, juices etc. Very affordable and AMAZING value for money. The best part of this was the location, it was a very short drive to the cavendish beach, green gables, tim hortons, and a local Cows ice cream."

"The entire hotel was under construction. We were not informed. To get to our room we had to walk down a flight of stairs, walk through an underground tunnel, go up an elevator and walk to our room. Because of the renovations, the breakfast bar was converted into two apples, two muffins and rice Kristy bars in our room. Also the pool was under repairs for the first night of our stay. "The room was clean (the smell of said cleaner was a bit harsh, though). Beds were comfortable, bathtub did need to be snaked as it pooled around ankles when showering. Excellent room for CBMF weekend."
