"The room I got fit my needs perfectly as a solo traveler and staff were very nice at this location in Raton, New Mexico. The room was large enough to feel comfortable with a microwave, refrigerator and bathtub. The only issue I had was the Wi-Fi connectivity that was about 20% reliable and I did not have cell service so it limited all of my phone and iPad usage. I stayed across the street from the office, which is probably why, and they may consider moving the router or adding one to that side...

"For the price, this place cannot be beat. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The shower & bathroom sink seemed to be newer and it was all clean. The mini fridge & freezer in the room was better than most you find at other hotels. There wasn’t coffee or other extras, but we didn’t need them anyway. The room was comfy and it was nice having the car right outside. We plan on staying again on our way through Roswell!"

"This place is a gem and the town is really cool. Right on Route 66, newly renovated rooms that feel vintage. Room and property are extremely clean and the owner is the nicest. I’m shocked this motel wasn’t sold out and I hope it isn’t the next time we pass through so we can stay again. Highly recommend."
