"Gracious Inn with all the amenities. Owner (Ann) and Innkeeper (JoAnn) were welcoming and excellent resources for anything Block Island. Our room had beautiful ocean views and I fell asleep every night to the sound of the waves. It was wonderful! Great breakfasts and evening wine and cookies. We loved this place and will return again! "For the age of the hotel, it was very well maintained and very clean. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself was very accommodating with storing bags until our checkin time and then the day or departure as well as providing beach towels. There was life music every night in the back patio area. It is loud until 10:00-10:30 but we did not mind it as we heard it from our room and enjoyed it. "The hotel was beautiful! The grounds were immaculate and we couldn’t get enough of sitting in the garden and enjoying the views. Perfect location. Very close to all the restaurants and the beach. Friendly staff. The restaurant on the grounds was nicely decorated and the food was delicious. The chef even came out to answer a question we had and he and the waiters were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly!! Highly recommend. Will definitely return!!"
