"The property was conveniently located close to Times Square. There is a Subway just outside the building where we can hop on/off the train easily after a long day of walking the entire city. I like that is a walking distance to the central park and that was a plus that I didn’t expect. The room that I was in had a view of the Central Park. I just wish there was a microwave to easily heat food after a very long day if we do want to go down and look for a restaurant other than hotel’s. A portable fridge too wouldn’t hurt to have to keep our drinks stay cold. We were just used to these two appliances as a necessity in a hotel as a basic convenience add on. "
"The staff is absolutely amazing! They will greet you with a smile every single time!! The room itself was VERY outdated. Our room was also very dirty for some reason and the tub AND toilet leaked. When we stayed (march) they were still on “winter mode” meaning the room was disgustingly hot to the point where we were sweating! The maintenance guy was very nice and opened the windows + asked them to bring us a fan. Views on the 35th floor were nice but windows were dirty. The staff was the only thing making the experience feel good. "
"There are a lot of great things about this hotel: the wine and entertainment nights in the lobby, the location, and the responsiveness of the staff when on site. We needed to request a fridge and more blankets and they brought them up right away. The accessible room was quite large and suited our accessible needs. The disadvantages: the room was very loud all through the night as there were trucks and work going on all through the night. The room was very cold by the windows as the windows aren’t well insulated. When we turned the heat up there was a lot of banging as a result. Also, the room would be much cozier if there were lamps or if the lights were on separate switches. The grab and go breakfast had very limited gluten free options.
I would only stay at this hotel again if I booked on a higher floor in a more traditional room."
