On arrival, while the staff member at the front desk was knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient, he was so busy that he was unable to focus on us. The room was a decent size and clean, beds were very comfortable!
The biggest drawback during our stay was the noise. We were given a room on the first floor above the main entrance. This meant that we were woken up by departing guests waiting for the shuttle bus pretty much every hour. With two small kids, this was not helpful. Furthermore, there were three occasions on our one night stay where other guests on the floor were shouting between rooms, kids were running around and playing loudly waking the kids up again.
The garbage depot around the corner also meant there were trucks passing the front of the hotel periodically.
While guest etiquette is not the hotel’s responsibility, it wouldn’t hurt for the hotel to remind guests that some are staying at the hotel to rest, prior to or during long haul flights!
