Upon check in we were told that they would call us when the room was ready. I’m glad we decided to just go off and explore rather than wait close by because the call never came. On the plus side, they do hold your bags at no cost so that was lucky. The room was adequately sized for the 3 of us with two double beds but there were no luggage racks so the room was made smaller with 3 suitcases on the floor (nowhere to store the clothes). The safe didn’t work. The bathroom was in need of some TLC, and a longer shower curtain so that water didn’t go all over the floor. Overall it wasn’t terrible - the location was ideal, right next to Grand Central Station - but things just kept adding up and adding up which kind of lessened the whole experience. Not what I am used to with Hyatt but you live and learn. Buy your own drinks - not from the market onsite.

The room was a little old. The bathtub did not drain very well and by the time your shower was done you were standing in a foot of water. Also was disappointed that the maid service never gave refilled the hansdoap in the bathroom.

The staff were nice, place was clean and convenient. Walking distance to many NYC attractions, shops, and restaurants. Will definitely stay there again!

Third stay at this hotel. We just love the beds and the location. We stayed in a corner suite which was spacious in terms of sleeping and living areas. However, the bathroom was tiny and cramped which was disappointing. Overall generally as expected.

Loved the location and felt very safe.. The room was very dark but that's to be expected when you're among skyscrapers. Only complaint was the bathroom and the mandatory destination fee which added up quickly. I would concider staying here again because of the location.

The bathroom drain was clogged and had a weird smell. Room was very small. Didn’t have a lot of accommodation at night , like when we needed a microwave or hot water. But workers were very friendly and lobby was nice, with caffe.

Great location. Family of 4 (2 kids 11 & 9y/o) loved being able to walk to lots of nearby attractions and having the metro station right next door was super convenient for transport and quick food options. Housekeeping was great at providing additional items requested and checking in with us in the mornings to make sure we had what we needed.

Great location. Rooms were great, was concern at first when read some reviews but not sure if they stayed at the same place I did. Because we found nothing wrong. Except for one night with night construction but we were moved asap to a different location.

Right next to Grand Central Station so great for transport further afield and market. Walkable to many attractions - Vanderbilt One is next door, Bryant Park and good food options to suit all budgets.

Where do I even start, this hotel is like forgotten child of Hyatt empire. - The staff hates their job. - they aren’t welcoming at all, rather snobby. They need to go learn the business of hospitality. - I didn’t get room cleaned for 2 days and when I called the house cleaning manager said she can’t send anyone and she won’t do it herself. So I have to wait. Which was 24 hrs later. I decided to just not used their house cleaning at all. - there are NO AMENITIES. Nothing.. a poor man’s gym. - NO ROOM SERVICE. - They charge a $40 a day destination/resort fee for NOTHING. - you CANT SLEEP. It’s noisy. Not just outside noise but noise from all the hallway. - THE LITTLE CONVENIENCE STORE, that store is a scam because they give you $15 credit every day from your destination fee but a bottle of one dollar WATER cost six dollars and everything else is also overpriced. Ridiculous. It’s a SCAM All in all, this isn’t a luxurious stay you would think of when you think of HYATT. definitely NOT GRAND
