The area seemed a little sketchy, but the service was amazing. Please read all the way through.
I was called because the room I rented (two work beds, a soaking tub and balcony) had been taken, so the offered me two other options that were much smaller by comparison. I felt like I wasn't getting what I paid for, but it was what it was.
When I got to my room, it was hot. The air was blowing, but it was 72° and that is way too warm for me to sleep. When I went down to the front desk, the manager asked to check out the air conditioning.
Needless to say, I was not happy. But then the manager came back and put us in the City Premier Suite which had everything I could've asked for, and so much more. We had a view of the East River. We could at the Empire State Building. It was amazing. I'D MOST DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.
Customer service was great from start to finish. The area may not have been the best, but the hotel was amazing!
