NEW YORKER BY LOTTE HOTELS

"The location is great. The staff are really nice, helpful, friendly and professional. The building is old and could do with updates and modernization but clean rooms and comfortable beds"

Hampton Inn New York Times Square

"It’s really great location Has #1 stop right in the corner literally 2 mins from hotel of one of the double deck bus tour. Property is under remodels but since you really don’t spend much time at the hotel. Has great complementary breakfast & free water refill for your water bottles."

"Location was perfect"

Hyatt Grand Central New York
6/10 Okay
"It was a nice hotel. Very big and beautiful lobby. There was a destination fee at check in of around $140 (non-refundable) and a $300 incidental fee that’s refundable after checkout. That was not expected and a lot of money to foot all at start of trip. But other than that, check in was smooth sailing. The room was run-down and in major need of an upgrade. Very disappointing! For instance, shabby looking carpet, older and dusty furniture. The chaise lounge had very noticeable stains and spots. The bathroom was very gross looking—toilet had like permanent staining inside. There was hair on the sink and floor from previous guest, so goes to show the room isn’t cleaned properly. The room service was good, they did replace towels and made the beds daily, that was appreciated. The bedding and towels were visibly clean and no issues. The rest of the room just gave an icky vibe. There’s no room service nor breakfast served, which we understand beforehand. There is a market shop in lobby that has a weird system of allowing $15 credit towards purchases daily if you charge the room. Market prices were extreme (I mean, sort of expected in NYC) but still, $18 for a breakfast sandwich with no side or drink included is a bit much. Silver lining, food was fresh and tasted great. But we had to eat it on lobby bench, no tables or comfortable seating are provided in the market."

Empire Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The property was very nice and swanky right in the middle of West side Manhattan. Walking distance from shops, eateries, and entertainment, as well as subway stations and bus stops! I made the mistake of Ubering everywhere the first two days before I found out how affordable and amazing the New York City public transportation system is! Our hotel was so accessible from everywhere in the city and surrounding Burroughs. Central Park, Time Square, Lower Manhattan, all just a very short walk or ride away!"

Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I traveled to New York with my 3 young sons and the stay made the trip much more memorable. The location is top tier, I had no idea we would be so close to Times Square. We were able to explore and come back often if we needed a break. The staff is 10/10. We had the most beautiful connection with the front desk attendant. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Housekeeping did an amazing job every single day. Breakfast was nice with great options both morning we ate there. I could go on and on. I’m literally so happy I chose to stay here and will stay again whenever I come back. If you are thinking of booking, do it!"
